Propeller Impact Fund 2020
This application Propeller IMPACT fund has four rounds of applications. Round one opens today!
Round One: April 22 at 9am, CST - April 25 at 5pm, CST
Round Two: June 22 at 9am, CST - June 25 at 5pm, CST
Round Three: August 24 at 9am, CST - August 27 at 5pm, CST
Round Four: October 26 at 9am, CST - October 29 at 5pm, CST
Open to artists in the Chicagoland area with a practice grounded in the visual arts.
The Propeller Impact Fund will distribute $500 unrestricted, one-time grants over four rounds of applications. The $500 grants are disbursed the month following each application deadline. A total amount of $56,000 will be disbursed over the four rounds.
The Propeller Impact Fund welcomes all eligible artists to apply, with priority consideration for communities that are impacted disproportionately including: ALAANA artists (African descendent, Latinx, Arab, Asian, Native American), d/Deaf and disabled artists, LGBTQ2SIA+ artists, and gender non-conforming and non-binary artists.
Selection will be done via lottery, with priority considerations taken into account.

Arts for Illinois Relief Fund
This first application round has closed but will reopen May 4th.
Applications for the Arts for Illinois Relief Fund one-time emergency artist grants are for Illinois based artists. 3Arts is working with the Arts for Illinois Relief Fund (AIRF), a partnership between the City of Chicago, State of Illinois, and private donors, to provide this funding. This is a one time $1500 unrestricted grant open to practicing artists from all disciplines (performing, visual, literary, education).
To be eligible, you must be living in Illinois and be experiencing financial loss or hardship due to COVID-19. Nonprofit arts and cultural organizations of any size may also apply for relief through the Arts Work Fund for grants between $6,000 and $30,000.
